Olivia in NashvilleBig news from the Real School voice department! Three of our talented young vocalists and their families traveled to Nashville last week to compete in the North American Country Music Association's annual competition. The results of the competition are now in, and our girls did extremely well on a national stage.

Olivia Kerins (right) won 1st PLACE IN THE NATION for "Bluegrass Entertainer of the Year," and 2nd PLACE in "Bluegrass singing!" Leighann Hodgkins and Tori Fabiano won 2nd PLACE IN THE NATION in their age group for "New Country Duo" (see the performance here), and Leighann placed 5th in "New Country Solo Act."

Our girls competed in the 13-to-16 age group, and their appearances in Nashville were the culmination of wins at regional competitions at  New England Country Music Organization (where they had placed 1st or 2nd), and a selection process that has taken the better part of a year.

Congrats to these very talented, dedicated vocalists and their families! Look for local events featuring these talented young musicians.
